Went to CBGB's tonight (COUNTRY BLUEGRASS BLUES - OTHER MUSIC FOR UPLIFTING
GORMANDIZERS) with Dave Street and Natasha Adnunzio to see the Misfits. Dave used to work at Natasha's, the eponymously-named establishment that was on St. Mark's Place in lower Manhattan. They used to sell Misfits t-shirts there.
During a break in the show, Jerry Only, the lead singer (and one of the original co-founders of the band whose history began in April 1977), had the audience sing Happy Birthday to his 23 year-old daughter Kelly.
After the show, I photographed Dave and Natasha with Jerry, who stayed and graciously autographed CD's, magazines, dollar bills, arms, tits, you name it...

CBGB's
All sorts of bands are playing in the hopes of renewing the lease (which right now is $19K a month!)
